An existing Job Order can be rescinded if required as long as the following requirements have been met first:
The Job Order has been Dispatched or the dispatch is complete.
No files have been uploaded on the Inspection tab.
No samples have been uploaded on the Lab tab.
Once these requirements have been met, a Job Order can be rescinded by opening the existing Job Order, navigating to the Actions button, and selecting Rescind Job Order:
Upon selecting Rescind Job Order, enter the (required) reason for the rescind and click Save. This will close the Job Order by putting it into the Rescind state after which the Job Order will appear on the Closed tab of the Job Order search and listing screen.
The Job Order can be reopened at any time by modifying and saving the Job Order which will change its state back to Active.
