A Dispatcher will often be required to provide information about the job, in the form of a Field Report, to the inspectors assigned to the Job Order, after the Field Report has been generated by either the job’s Coordinator or the Dispatcher themselves.
To do this, select Dispatch Email beside the Job Order's number in the list.
Note: this feature is only available to Dispatchers. For more information about permissions see Roles.
This displays the Email Job Order popup:
The pop up displays the following email fields:
To: pre-populated with the email addresses of the inspectors assigned to the job. Additional email addresses can be added by inserting a semi-colon character after each.
Cc: optional email addresses to send the email to. This section will be pre-populated with any email addresses that have been added to the Communications List.
Subject: pre-populated with the Job Order number, Job Type, and Port/Terminal.
Message: pre-populated with all of the information for the Job Order.
Attachment: contains an auto-generated PDF file containing all of the information for the Job Order, as well as the Field Report, if it has been generated; both will be available as separate PDF attachments. If it has not been generated, then only the Job Order summary attachment will be available.
