Grades refer to the various product grades, which can be specified for Cargo in a Job Order.

The Grades search and listing screen allows for their creation and maintenance:

Creating Grades

The Grade creation screen allows the following information to be entered:

  1. Grade Name, Type, Code: specifies the unique name to assign to the grade, the type of product the grade refers to, and an optional code to assign. Clicking Grade type descriptions displays information about the types.

  2. Description: stores an optional description about the grade.

  3. Is Sensitive: select Yes if the grade has a volatility or precaution that users should be aware of.

  4. Status: indicates if the entity is active (selectable for Job Orders), or inactive.

Exporting Data

Grade data can be exported to .csv (comma separated values) files which allows the data to be viewed and edited using spreadsheet software, or saved for offline viewing or backups.
