Requesting a New Password

Note: the following only applies if the user account is not locked out.


To request a new password:


  1. Click the Request new password link. This will display the Request New Password dialog:

  1. Enter your user name and email address and click Submit to receive a password reset email from the system.

  2. Click the link in the email and enter a new password when the password entry screen is displayed. The password must adhere to the following guidelines:


  • Passwords must be at least 8 characters and must include a combination of numbers, letters and at least one special character.

  • Permanent passwords expire after 90 days.

  • Temporary passwords expire after 1 day.

  • The password retention history includes the last 6 passwords.

  • User names are NOT case sensitive; passwords ARE case sensitive.


Click Proceed to have the system automatically end the other session and log you in to the  Inspection Management System, or click Cancel to return to the login screen.
